Dot NAME Domain Names

Established in 2001, the Dot NAME TLD is the sole TLD intended for personal websites only. These domain names can include personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other titles people are famous by. Initially, only third-level registrations were possible, so if you planned to reserve john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Existing third-level domain names remained working.

Through our company, you can register your .NAME domain for a time interval between 1 and 10 years. You will be able to change the WHOIS info, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our firm if you have its EPP transfer key from the current registration provider and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finalized. There are no special restrictions on who can book a dot NAME domain, but in order to keep the concept behind its establishment alive, the .NAME Registry organization may check who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration could be challenged.
